Being a Lone Wolf in the Jungle of Game of Thrones Weirdos

If you’ve never watched any episode of Game of Thrones...

If you didn’t bother about the season finale hype...

You have my utmost respect!

You resisted the peer pressure.

You stood strong, even though you were the lone wolf in the jungle of netflix-addicted human beings.

As someone who wants to overcome stuttering, that’s a skill you really need.

Here’s what I mean...

Believe it or not, one very good way to reduce the fears of stuttering is....

...whispering.

I know this may sound like a joke, but it’s true.

Most stutterers don’t stutter when they whisper. So why not take that to your advantage?

I’m not saying you should start whispering to people instead of talking. Nothing can replace real spontaneous talking. But to give yourself some confidence boost and to *prove* to your subconscious mind that there’s nothing wrong with you - you can start using the power of whispering in a creative way.

For example, start spending 10 minutes a day to read a book in whispering manner.

Yes, that’s right, read while whispering...

...not just lipsing.

This is something I don’t see any speech gurus talking about.

All i hear the gurus talk about is how to avoid difficult words... how to elongate your syllables... how to speak slowly.

No one talks about the power of whispering.

It’s so underrated, yet it’s so natural.

As kids, whispering used to be a fun activity. But as we grow older, peer pressure kicks in. You’ve got to behave like *adults*. You have to do what everyone else is doing. And if you don’t, you’ll be seen as a weirdo.

Much like those who haven’t watched Game of Thrones...

“You haven’t watched a single episode yet??” they say.

“You’re living under a rock!” they say.

But the fact is it’s only when you walk on the road less travelled and stop following the crowd, you’ll start finding secrets and insights that people normally wouldn’t notice.

Stop bothering yourself about avoiding hard words and stuff like that.

Try whispering like the way I explained above.

Make it loud, but not loud enough to produce *sound*. Do this for a few days, and then start applying the anticipation-beating strategies from Never Stutter Again program. The combination of these two is going to blow your mind. You’ll be surprised how fast you can overcome your speech blocks if you do it this way.

Using this whispering technique will give you a good confidence boost, but it’s not going to be enough. You must overcome the anticipations of stuttering, because frankly speaking you never know when and where your stutter will relapse again.

Anticipation, like i’ve explained in my previously, is the key to break the speech-stutter-cycle. It’s one of the pillars of the Never Stutter Again program.
